Seminar on Water Resources Development and Utilization for Namibia Held in Hangzhou

On September 16-17, 2019, the International Seminar on Hydropower Development and Ecological Civilization Construction for South-South Cooperation was successfully held in Xi 'an city with the support of the Global South-South Development Center project (Global SSDC). 20 foreign representatives from 9 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as Chinese representatives from the international small hydropower center, ICSP member enterprises, financial institutions and local small hydropower associations attended the seminar.

The Training Course on Hydropower Operation and Management in Zambia was held successfully during November 11th and December 6th, 2019, which is the 118th training course or seminar that HRC has conducted to this date and the first training course held by HRC in Zambia. The number of participants of the training course totals 90, and they are from ZESCO Limited and the local staff from the construction site of Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower Project.
