The project aims to study the feasibility of establishing small PV-based energy storage system to strengthen the power supply capacity of rural power grid and using off-grid household PV system to improve the utilization rate of rural electrical appliances. This will help to tackle local power shortage, optimize energy allocation, improve living condition and local environment, and further promote Chinese PV technology and equipment, enhance cooperation between China and Latin-American countries. The results of the research will be shared with involved parties and contribute to the realization of SDGs for a long run.
