Educational Experience

Agricultural microbiology, graduated from Fujian Agricultural Collogue (Original name) in 1989.

Post graduation education as fellow:

-Plant pathology, Fujian Agricultural University, 1998

-Crop science, Fujian agriculture and Forestry University, 2005


work Experience

Since 1989, Chen Tiqiang has been engaged in the research of plant pathogenic fungi and medicinal fungi in the Institute of plant protection, Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FAAS); and obtained the position of Associate professor in 2001.

Since 2009, Chen Tiqiang has transferred to Institute of edible fungi, FAAS, and set up a research laboratory of medicinal fungi and PI group, specializing in Ganoderma spp. research.  In 2015, Chen Tiqiang won the research position (Full professor, researcher).


Research Field

Development and utilization of Ganoderma lucidum, G. sinense and other medicinal fungi germplasm resources, cultivation techniques and quality evaluation, active component analysis and functional evaluation of extracts


Qualification Introduction

master degree or above, minimum 15 years of relevant experience at the national and/or international leve


Academic Achievements

In 2005, the achievement "Research on deep processing of Ganoderma lucidum and other medicinal fungi" won the third prize of Science and Technology awarded by Fujian provincial government, ranking the second.

In 2012, the third prize of Fujian science and technology, The cultivation and deep processing new technology and demonstration of Ganoderma lucidum and Ganoderma lucidum, ranked the first.

In 2013, third prize of Fujian science and technology, the research and application of three super technology in the extraction of effective components of Ganoderma sinense fruiting body and Ganoderma lucidum spore powder, ranked the first.
